OUR DEMOCRACY
Our Democracy is a multimedia documentary and education project funded by National Geographic Society, PhotoWings, and the Catchlight Foundation. Our aim is to look beyond national politics and create a living record of human-centered stories from across the United States that represent the complex spectrum of personal, local and socio-political issues central to the state of American democracy today.
In an effort to democratize our journalistic approach, we are also inviting audiences to pursue and publish their own reporting. I've linked the education website and digital reporting map we created in partnership with The National Writing Project.
